ATC Aerospace is seeking a Director, Procurement to join our team. The Director, Procurement will be responsible for managing and overseeing sourcing, contracting, transactional purchasing, expediting, vendor management, and miscellaneous internal procurement support activities.


  • Manage a team of procurement specialists responsible for sourcing, contracting, transactional purchasing, expediting, vendor management, and miscellaneous internal procurement support activities
  • Build a Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) to help transform procurement by implementing best practices and supporting broader transformation of the value chain and the enterprise
  • Develop and implement an organizational procurement strategy with short, mid, and long term goals and objectives and realization of cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities
  • Create a talent management process in coordination with HR to ensure that the right resources are in place; manage the skills and competency development of procurement staff, including training, and development of benchmarks and scorecards to be used for continuous improvement
  • Monitor contract compliance with all agreements and reporting to executive team
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as directed by management


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related, however experience will be weighed heavily when assessing candidacy for the position
  • Minimum 5+ years of related purchasing experience, including familiarity with procurement processes and procedures
  • Procurement background relative to MRO or aerospace a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required – Must possess the ability to communicate/interact with all levels of management, as well as customers and suppliers alike
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on MS Excel is required. Knowledge of MS DAX is a plus
  • Strong negotiation skills to use for large commercial deals
  • Familiarity with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk
  • Strong leadership skills and a team player
  • Ability to “sell” procurement’s value and to run procurement as a services business like any other well-run professional services business
  • Strategic mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Analytical mindset, but also creativity to seek, encourage and find non-traditional approaches that have historically “boxed-in” procurement
