This position is temporary, full-time. The Inside Sales Associate will be responsible for interacting with customers and vendors in a fast paced environment, penetrating assigned accounts and building relationships. This position is part of a team supporting outside sales and purchasing personnel in effort to facilitate customer requests for standard/customized products and services.


  • Communicate with customers concerning their needs to include orders, returns, products, shipment information, etc. Initiates and follows up on appropriate actions based upon needs
  • Prepare quotes for customers on a variety of electrical and mechanical parts and components. Requires research and interaction with internal and external resources
  • Process RFQs and POs
  • Communicate with suppliers on customer issues, delivery instructions, changing priorities, expediting of orders, and any special requirements
  • Responsible for various analytical reports in effort to effectively track demands and orders
  • Perform sourcing for required parts as needed
  • May review drawings and schematics for select parts/equipment


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a minimum of 5 years of technical experience required in supporting the Nuclear Industry 
  • Knowledge of Electrical or Mechanical parts is required
  • Procurement/Purchasing Experience required
  • Understanding of quotes, order processing, purchase orders and sourcing required
  • Familiarity of circuit board parts and ability to read drawings a plus
  • Outstanding commitment to customer service, excellent presence, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Technically oriented – technical communication practices are essential
  • Must have solid working knowledge of MS and knowledge of ERP systems – MS DAX preferred
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must be able to provide support after hours/weekends
